Maybe we live in a time where we need to reframe anxiety instead of pill-popping it or seeing it as a terrible unsolvable problem
Jung as an example said about depression “Depression is like a woman in black. If she turns up, don’t shoo her away. Invite her in, offer her a seat, treat her like a guest, and listen to what she wants to say. Quite often, the hands will solve a mystery that the intellect has struggled with in vain.”
The idea I had this morning was from a video by Sam Vaknin and I see how we struggle with things that with a reframing of meaning we could gain something valuable.
I will put the video in the first comments box for viewing. Due to the content of the video, I don’t want to spoil at what point, he says what he says about anxiety, but I think it really is worth listening to.
Sam Vaknin a professor teaches about personality and disorders and more and is an academic in the field. Do check out his channel for top education.
